Digital Engineering Chair<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Welcome!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The area of expertise of the Digital Engineering Chair lies at the intersection of engineering, computer science and management topics and is therefore characterized by a high degree of interdisciplinarity. The focus of our work in research and teaching is on the design of integrated process chains for modeling and simulation of complex technical systems and on cross-process information management in an industrial environment. We research new methods and models for the management and integration of product-related data and processes along the entire product life cycle and the design of new forms of interaction with IT tools including the use of virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR).<\/p>\n\n\n
